A Eulogy, in western civilization, is a way to honour a person recently passed. It is the moment of thanks and of deep acknowledgment of the love shared for this person. Where everything in a life can retrospectively make sense. Everything comes out.

Living Eulogies workshops create an opportunity to honour each participant’s impact in their life thus far. Everybody has had an impact on the world. This is a workshop that opens the body and relational mind to process deep questions of finality, purpose, accomplishment, in a way that encourages a feeling of being fully actualized in whatever stage of our lives we might be in. From there we stir inner hints of latent ideas that really want to find form in this lifetime.

Embodiment practices, writing exercises, stream of consciousness speaking and group sharing for each other create this structure for this expanded dance. The workshop is geared towards artists and humans, especially those with a chronic sense of failure willing to be showered with overwhelming praise.
