Performing Performance

is interested in the performing of ‘self’ and the role of the <performer> in this moment of saturation where attention itself performs and is performed upon constantly. Theatre or no theatre, body or no body. With a shifty and volatile presence attending to forces, misinterpreted or channelled direct, this work looks to create a crack; a bit of light, accelerating to stop. Stoop.

Performing Performance was presented at The Theatre Center Mainspace, 1115 Queen St West in Toronto as a part of SummerWorks Performance Festival 2016.
